Personal financial planning information sources
These include books, magazines and web sites. For example, visit the National Endowment for Financial Education's Web site at www.nefe.org. A librarian can guide you to other sources of reliable information as well. Check out listings in Financial Information Resources.
Professional financial advisors
To find one who is right for you, ask friends, family members, or hospice workers to refer you to someone they know and work with. You might want to interview several advisors before choosing one. Ask about credentials (such as CPA, CFP®), experience, services, costs and references. Make sure you are comfortable with the advisor you select.
